The Valderiz smells strongly of herbs and spices. There are also notes of toasted bread and some vanilla. The wine is wonderfully fresh on the palate and has a clear minerality. Complemented by a lot of ripe fruit of red berries with a hint of nut aroma. The long-lasting finish is characterized by barrel aging and has a gentle tannin effect. The Valderiz goes well with Iberian ham or strong fish with garlic sauce.
