Die Catarratto Trauben für den Curatolo Arini Paccamora Catarratto IGP stammen aus ausgewählten Weinbergen gelegen im Westen Siziliens. Die Weinberge sind durch sandige, lehmige Böden gekennzeichnet und liegen 300 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Hier werden die Reben Richtung Osten gepflanzt, so dass die Trauben sich durch den Einfluss der morgentlichen Sonne und des kühlenden Windes zu reich aromatischen Früchten entwickeln können.Nach dem Entrappen und einer folgenden 12 stündigen Kaltmazeration werden die Trauben sanft gepresst und 10 bis 12 Tage lang bei kontrollierter Temperatur von 16 bis 18°C in Edelstahltanks vergoren.Der italienische Weißwein zeigt sich in einem Zitronengelb im Glas und schimmert grünlich. Aromen exotischer Früchte, weißer Blüten und Kräutern der Provence umschmeicheln die Nase. Geschmacklich ist der Paccamora ein eleganter Wein ausgezeichnet mit einer frischen Mineralität und Noten von Steinobst wie Nektarine und Pfirsich.

This white wine is made of Grillo, a grape variety typical of Sicily. It is redolent of fruit with light flesh, particularly peaches, along with wonderfully stimulating notes of fresh wildflowers and newly cut grass. On the palate, the wine is amazingly soft and pleasantly balanced.The Donnafugata Sur Sur Grillo DOC comes from vineyards located in the south-west of Sicily, in the hilly hinterland between Marsala and Salemi. Above-average temperatures in July favoured the grapes’ ripening process. The differences in temperature between day and night led to an outstanding aromatic intensity of the grapes.Grillo is an autochthonous Sicilian grape variety, but ‘Grillo’ (the cricket) is also a small animal that brings good luck. The name ‘sur’ means ‘cricket’ and comes from the classical Arabic once spoken in Sicily. Strohgelb mit goldenen Reflexen schimmert der Feudo Arancio Chardonnay im Glas. Der Weißwein aus Sizilien ist im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis herausragend. Gold bei der Berliner Wein Trophy für den Jahrgang 2020 oder Silber bei den Asian Chardonnay Masters für den Jahrgang 2018 sind nur zwei Beispiele für die vielen Auszeichnungen, die der Feudo Arancio Chardonnay in aller Welt bereits erhalten hat. Und auch der Jahrgang 2021 ist ein Genuss-Garant. Der reinsortige, italienische Chardonnay duftet intensiv fruchtig nach Tropenfrüchten (Ananas) und Zitrusfrüchten. Hinzu kommen verführerische Nuancen von Vanille und Akazienhonig. Am Gaumen ist der Weißwein von Feudo Aranico trocken, harmonisch und ausgewogen, mit einer angenehmen, zurückhaltenden Säure und großer Fruchtbetontheit. Die Chardonnay-Trauben stammen aus der Provinz Ragusa an der Südspitze Siziliens. 15% des Mosts reifte in französischen Eichenholzbarriques heran. Im Anschluss wird die Cuvée vereint und der Weißwein von der größten Insel im Mittelmeer im Stahltank veredelt.
