This white wine is made of Grillo, a grape variety typical of Sicily. It is redolent of fruit with light flesh, particularly peaches, along with wonderfully stimulating notes of fresh wildflowers and newly cut grass. Above-average temperatures in July favoured the grapes’ ripening process. The differences in temperature between day and night led to an outstanding aromatic intensity of the grapes.Grillo is an autochthonous Sicilian grape variety, but ‘Grillo’ (the cricket) is also a small animal that brings good luck.
