This “Große Gewächs” (grand cru, literally “great growth”) from the Hermannsberg estate is a fascinating delight: it has a bouquet hinting of exotic fruit with green and yellow herbal notes and discreet nuances of honey. This wine is charming on the palate complemented by a finish with fine acidity - a Riesling wine of the highest quality. This is also due to the slopes on which the grapes for the Gut Hermannsberg GG Traiser Bastei Riesling are grown. The winery explains: “This is one of the most spectacular vineyards in the world. The Rotenfels encloses the little stage like an amphitheatre where only the Riesling puts in such an impressive performance. Der Ilmbacher Hof Stollenwein 46 Silvaner ist ein trockener Weißwein aus Franken. Bei diesem Wein handelt es sich um Projekt von ganz besonderer Art. Winzer Thomas Fröhlich vom Ilmbacher Hof füllte 1 Fass seines besten Silvaners in fränkische Eiche. Das Fass wurde Ende 2019 in das größte Bergwerk Bayerns eingelagert. Dort reifte der Wein für genau 1400 Nächte, also mehr als 46 Monate, bei einer konstanten Temperatur von 14 Grad Celsius und einer ebenso konstanten Luftfeuchtigkeit von 80%.
