Assuli liegt etwas mehr als 20 Kilometer landeinwärts von Marsala entfernt. Das Bouquet des reinsortigen Syrah (Shiraz) vereint anregende Noten von roten Früchten, Lakritz und schwarzem Pfeffer mit für die Region typischen Gewürznoten sowie dem Duft mediterraner Gewächse.Das renommierte Weingut Assuli, dessen Weine von der internationalen Weinkritik bereits mit zahlreichen Spitzenurteilen geadelt wurden, versteht es, prägende Rebsorten der Region voll zur Entfaltung zu bringen. Camivini Tank No 11 Syrah Appassimento IGT 2022

Bei dem Camivini Tank Nº 11 Syrah Appassimento IGT vereinigt sich das volle und intensive Bukett von reifen roten Früchten mit eleganten Noten von schwarzem Pfeffer und Schokolade. Im Geschmack ist der brillant rubinrote Syrah voll und weich mit einem faszinierenden Aroma von dunklen Beeren.Die Trauben für den Appassimento reifen an den Rebstöcken bis sie etwa 30% an Wasser verloren haben. Die direkte Trocknung am Rebstock ist unter dem Namen TANK bekannt. Das TANK-Verfahren ist eine neue Auslegung des Appassimento-Verfahrens, bei dem die Trauben auf luftigen Gestellen oder in gut belüfteten Kisten langsam getrocknet werden. TANK-Weine haben eine dichte und intensive Aromatik mit einer leichten Rosinennote und harmonischer Restsüße.Genießen Sie den im Barrique ausgebauten Rotwein zu gegrilltem Fleisch, Pasta, Weichkäse oder auch solo.

Der tiefrote, fast schwarze Cusumano Benuara IGT vereint die Trauben Nero d'Avola und Syrah zu einem Feuerwerk für die Sinne. Starke Aromen reifer Beerenfrüchte korrespondieren mit dem vielschichtigen Duft von Gewürzen. Der trockene Rotwein von den südlichsten Höhenlagen Siziliens ist vollfruchtig und kräftig im Geschmack. Feudo Arancio Syrah Sicilia DOC 2021

Das Bouquet des Feudo Arancio Syrah (Shiraz) aus Sizilien ist faszinierend facettenreich. Noten von Waldbeeren, Heidelbeeren, Himbeeren und Pflaumen prägen den Duftstrauß. Sie harmonieren wunderbar mit einer angenehmen Würze von schwarzem Pfeffer, Nelken und Thymian. Am Gaumen ist der sizilianische Rotwein trocken, geschmeidig, mit vollem Körper. Die samtigen Tannine sind wunderbar eingebunden. Das Finale bietet Nuancen von Röstaromen, feines Ergebnis des zehnmonatigen Ausbaus des Feudo Arancio Syrah im französischen Eichenholzbarrique. Die Trauben für den im Wortsinne ausgezeichneten Rotwein (u.a. Gold bei der Berliner Wine Trophy für den Jahrgang 2018, Mundus Vini-Gold für den Jahrgang 2015) stammen aus den Provinzen Agrigento im Südwesten der größten Insel im Mittelmeer und Ragusa an der Südspitze Siziliens.

Mea Culpa Vino Rosso

‘Mea Culpa’ means ‘my fault’. Mario Minini from the Cantine Minini estate used this expression ironically to name his outstanding red wine. In his opinion, he created the best cuvée that can be made using the Appassimento method.The Mea Culpa Vino Rosso in an extraordinary wine in all respects. The Primitivo, Shiraz and Merlot grapes for the Appassimento cuvée come from two very different wine-growing regions in Italy. The Primitivo grapes come from Apulia, of course, while the Shiraz and Merlot grapes come from Sicily, wonderfully uniting to create this excellent blend. The responsible wine-maker Mario Minini and his team of oenologists worked on the optimal composition of this blend for a long time. The result is a medium-dry red wine, offering an abundance of aromas on the nose.Fine notes of chocolate, nuances of tobacco and strong fruit aromas of blackberries, strawberries and dark cherries unite with notes of mocha and vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows a vivid acidity and a fine tannin structure. The full but elegant body has an exquisite structure. Due to the ageing in 225-litre oak casks made of French oak, the Mea Culpa Vino Rosso offers notes of vanilla and tobacco in its finish.It is an ideal accompaniment to meals. It goes beautifully with gnocchi or homemade spaetzle with beef roulade and cabbage vegetables.Enjoy this Primitivo from Sicily at a drinking temperature of 16-18 °C (46.4-50.0 °F).
