As a special feature, this exceptional grappa matured for 18 months in small barrels made of cherry wood, ash, oak and robinia, giving this grappa its typical intense and ethereal fragrance with fine vanilla aromas, deep colour and full flavour. Dieser Grappa aus Südtirol ist eine Sonderedition der international vielfach ausgezeichneten Brennerei Marzadro. Der Marzadro Le Diciotto Lune Riserva Botte Whisky ist eine Kreation aus autochthonen roten und weißen Rebsorten im Trentino im Norden Italiens. Marzadro hat diesen Grappa in kleinen Holzfässern ausgebaut, wobei Kirsch-, Eschen- und Eichenholz genutzt wurden sowie das Holz der Robinie.Anschließend reifte der italienische Tresterbrand in – mit der Erfahrung von Kennerinnen und Kennern ausgewählten – schottischen Fässern, die zuvor für die Veredelung von Whiskys genutzt wurden. Dabei wurden für den Ausbau Fässer von Whiskys mit und ohne prägende Torf-Noten verwendet. Entsprechend duftet der Marzadro Le Diciotto Lune Riserva Botte Whisky intensiv fruchtig und würzig, typisch für hochwertigen Grappa von Marzadro. Hinzu kommen torfige Nuancen, die diesen Tresterbrand so unverwechselbar machen. A truly rare taste experience: Only 1.000 acres comprises the wine-growing area in the appellation Teroldego Rotaliano. Campo Rotaliana is located about 20 km north of Trento. This area is the origin of the Teroldego-grape. Vescovi Ulzbach Teroldego Rotaliano is an example of the unique taste-experience. The wine has an impenetrable ruby color. The multi-faceted bouquet is characterized by many spicy notes, such as green pepper and rosemary. The taste is full, with a remarkable fruitiness. Flavors of cherry and black currant are dominant, but you can also taste hints of plum and figs. The wine is wonderful fresh, on the palate only a slightly influence of barrel aging.
