Der Blason d'Aussières Corbières stammt aus dem traditionsreichen Weingut Château d'Aussières, das sich im Herzen der renommierten Weinregion Corbières im Languedoc befindet. Dieses Weingut gehört zu den Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) und vereint erstklassiges Terroir mit jahrhundertelanger Weinbaukunst. Das Ergebnis ist ein eleganter und vielschichtiger Rotwein, der die Essenz des mediterranen Klimas in sich trägt.Die Cuvée setzt sich aus Syrah, Grenache Noir, Carignan und Mourvèdre zusammen – Rebsorten, die für ihre kraftvolle Frucht und ihre würzigen Noten bekannt sind. Die Weinberge profitieren von heißen Tagen und kühlen Nächten, was den Trauben eine optimale Reifung ermöglicht und gleichzeitig ihre Frische bewahrt. Nach der sorgfältigen Handlese erfolgt die temperaturkontrollierte Gärung, um die intensiven Fruchtaromen bestmöglich zu extrahieren. Ein Teil des Weins reift in französischen Eichenfässern, wodurch er zusätzliche Tiefe und eine feine, elegante Struktur erhält. Im Glas zeigt sich der Blason d'Aussières Corbières in einem tiefen Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen. Das Bouquet ist geprägt von reifen dunklen Früchten wie schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Kirschen und Pflaumen, untermalt von feinen würzigen Nuancen, die an Lorbeer, schwarzen Pfeffer und Tabak erinnern. Am Gaumen entfaltet sich der Wein mit einer angenehmen Fülle und geschmeidigen Tanninen. Die Fruchtaromen werden begleitet von einer subtilen mineralischen Note, die ihm eine elegante Frische verleiht. Der Abgang ist lang und harmonisch mit einer feinen Balance zwischen Frucht, Würze und dezenten Röstaromen.Dieser charaktervolle Rotwein passt hervorragend zu mediterranen Gerichten wie gegrilltem Lamm mit Rosmarin, einer herzhaften Ratatouille oder geschmorten Wildgerichten. Auch zu einer Auswahl an gereiftem Käse oder zu einer klassischen französischen Cassoulet entfaltet er sein volles Potenzial. Um das volle Aromenspektrum genießen zu können, sollte der Blason d'Aussières Corbières bei einer Temperatur von 16 bis 18 °C serviert werden.

Dieser vegane Wein bietet nicht nur ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis; er hat uns auch im Hinblick auf das Wichtigste, nämlich seine Aromatik, mehr als überzeugt.Benannt nach dem ältesten Leuchtturm Europas, der vor dem Mündungstrichter der Gironde im Atlantik steht und den der Wein stolz auf seinem Etikett trägt, profitiert dieser Bordeaux Supérieur von der Expertise von Jean René Matignon, dem Önologen von Château Pichon Baron, Grand Cru Classé in Pauillac. Jean René, Matignon ist ein Meister in der Kunst des Blendings und Experte in der Überwachung des Fassausbaus.Ist es Zufall, dass das Label dieses Weines, der zu 75% aus Merlot und 25% Cabernet Sauvignon besteht und in thermoregulierten Edelstahlbehältern vergoren wurde, dem seines „großen Bruders“ ähnelt?Der Cap Royal reifte im französischen Eichenfass. Er zeigt eine schöne intensive rote Farbe mit violetten Reflexen. Die Nase weist Aromen von Brombeer- und Heidelbeerkonfitüre mit würzigen und gerösteten Noten auf. Am Gaumen spürt man die Reichhaltigkeit des Weines durch eine Cremigkeit, verstärkt durch Vanillenoten, die durch den Ausbau in Eichenfässern hervorgerufen werden. Ein kraftvoller, reicher und frischer Bordeaux mit einer tollen Frucht.Cap Royal ist bereits trinkreif, nach einer Dekantierzeit von einer 3/4 Stunde.Solo eine Freude, macht sich dieser Rebsaft ebenso gut im Duo mit gereiftem Hartkäse, Wild, Geschmortem und Rind.

Das Jahr 2020 trug hierzu einiges bei, handelt es sich doch um einen der drei Ausnahmejahrgänge in der Serie von 2018-2020.Die Assemblage besteht aus Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot und Petit Verdot.Der Château Beaumont 2020 ist von tief violett-roter Farbe mit schönen Purpurreflexen. Das Bouquet überzeugt durch schöne Brombeernoten, Tabak, Unterholz, Schokolade und dunkler Frucht. Château Charmail is known for producing wines that very often score significantly higher than their price would suggest. Charmail, classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, was taken over by Oliver Seze in the 1980s and underwent a "horse cure" of renewal until the wines once again reached the level of the terroir on which its vines grow. As a neighbor of Sociando-Mallet and Phélan-Ségur, the Gironde is not far away and the wine is now one of the best in the Haut-Médoc. Seze is still active as a consultant, but has handed over the vineyard to Bernard d'Halluin and his daughter Marie.2018 is the first year of the "dream trilogy" 2018, 2019 and 2020, which produced outstanding wines in the Bordelais. The cuvée consists of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 8% Petit Verdot.The appeal of this wine lies in its creaminess and fine fruit, with underlying sweet aromas. Blue and black berries, cassis, tobacco and chocolate delight the nose. Silky on the palate, with a medium-full body, toasty notes from the wood, which do not dominate, and polished tannins. The finish is long lasting.This elegant and balanced Haut-Médoc is already ready to drink, but only after about an hour of decanting. However, it should still have a span of at least 15 years ahead of it, provided it is stored properly, of course.The 2018 offers a great drinking experience at an excellent price-performance ratio. Château Charmail, located in the north of the Médoc, is the neighbor of Sociando-Mallet and has an exceptionally good terroir close to the Gironde. Formerly dormant, this estate woke up a few decades ago and produces fresh and fruity wines that have propelled Château Charmail into the top league of the Left Bank. It is important to bear in mind that the prices for this grape juice are still more than moderate, making Charmail one of the absolute price-performance winners in the whole of Bordeaux. The 2019 vintage is also exceptionally successful and is considered part of the century trilogy (2018-2020).A wonderfully deep ruby red glows in the glass. On the nose, the typically delicate fruit of Château Charmail, with cassis, blackberries, redcurrants and a hint of elderberry. On the palate, the red and blueberry character intensifies, framed by tobacco, licorice, leather and a little graphite, as well as mint and cedar. Everything is very fresh and harmonious, with good structure and race and some residual sweetness, which balances wonderfully with the intense fruit. Although the tannins are present, they are not over-represented, but appear polished and polished. The finish is extremely long.Château Charmail 2019 is a winner in its price category and scores even higher. The Château de Pitray of the 2015 vintage is simply a sensation in terms of quality and good value for money. The 2015 vintage is considered the outstanding vintage in the Bordelais region. It produced the best grapes ever in the Bordeaux region’s modern history, alongside 2009 and 2010. The winery is located in Gardegan in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation with its plateaus composed of limestone and clay, situated on the right bank of the Gironde River, just 8 kilometres from Saint-Émilion. This splendid Château has been owned by the Pitray family for 600 years. It would be a worthy setting for every Harry Potter film. The remarkable limestone and clay soils provide excellent conditions for the Merlot grapes that make up 75% of this assemblage. The cuvée of the 2016 de Pitray further consists of 23% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec. In the vineyards, interventions in nature are minimised as far as possible; herbicides are not used, for example. The wine matured for 12 months in barriques and offers impressive harmony and elegance. The 2016 Château Pitray can already be enjoyed now but will be a real delight over the next 5-8 years. We recommend decanting the wine at least one hour before drinking it. The wine offers lovely aromas of dark, ripe fruit such as bilberries, blackberries and wild strawberries, wonderfully accompanied by round, fine tannins. Nothing is in the wrong place here. The notes of wood emphasise the wine’s finesse without drowning it. The 2016 Château Pitray has a well-defined, precise bouquet with blackberry and crushed strawberry fruit, the oak nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, not much depth here, but very well balanced with a silky smooth finish. This comes highly recommended, since it is usually well priced. The Château de Pitray 2016 is an ideal accompaniment to grilled dishes, game, meat loaf, roast beef and cheeses. It is also lovely on its own to enjoy with friends.

The Château du Gazin vineyards are located in the well-known Canon Fronsac appellation, north-east of Bordeaux, very close to Saint Émilion and Pomerol.On about 30 hectares of vineyards, the Robert family, now in its third generation, produces a red wine that is made of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec and does not require any sulphur. The work in the vineyard is also carried out with the minimum use of chemicals. The dry wine from France is HVE 3 certified, the highest level of natural wine production.The Château du Gazin 2018, aged for 18 months in barrels, simply blew us away and shows the wonderful fruit and intensity of the exceptional 2018 vintage. It has a deep ruby red colour. The nose shows strawberry, cassis, some nutmeg, notes of caramel and some cocoa. Round, full-bodied on the palate, with silky and fresh tannins, supported by lots of red fruit, strawberries, cherries, some pepper and mocha. The aftertaste is impressively long.Make sure you get this price-performance miracle, which cuts a fine figure both on its own and with game, braised, grilled or matured cheese.The wine critics were also enthusiastic: James Suckling: 92/100; Neil Martin in Vinous: 90/100; Beckustator: 91/100.
