Der berühmte Dessertwein duftet nach Zitronencreme, Brioche, reifen gelben Früchten und Akazienhonig. Am Gaumen ist der Château de Malle Sauternes AOC cremig und mineralisch. Neal Martin bescheinigt dem Süßwein zu Beginn eine gewisse Bitterkeit.

Die Kritiker sind sich einig, dass es sich um einen Sauternes von hoher Qualität handelt, ob er allerdings allerhöchsten Ansprüchen genügt, darin besteht Uneinigkeit. René Gabriel (18 von 20) frohlockt: „Im Gaumen sehr fruchtig, traubiges Extrakt, klar ausgerichtet. Toll selektioniert!"

Zu einer langen Reihe ausgezeichneter Pascal Jolivet Weine aus dem Loiretal gehört der Pascal Jolivet Sancerre Blanc Clos du Roy AOC. Die Sauvignon Trauben für diesen einzigartigen Weißwein stammen aus einem der schönsten Terroirs der Appellation Sancerre in der französischen Gemeinde Crézancy. Der kalkhaltige Boden sorgt für ein sehr typisches Aromengerüst, das dem Terroir nahe kommt und einen eleganten und feinen Sancerre "cru" entstehen lässt.Die Reifung des Weins fand für 4 Monate auf der Feinhefe in thermoregulierten Edelstahltanks statt. Der Charakter des Weins drückt sich frei mit außergewöhnlicher Frucht aus. Im Bouquet vereinen sich Zitrusfrüchte und grüner Apfel. Der Abgang ist lang und weich.

Pascal Jolivet steht für eindrucksvolle  Loire Weine, die viel Genuss versprechen. Dazu gehört der Pascal Jolivet Pouilly Fumé AOC. Der trockene Weißwein besteht zu 100% aus Sauvignon Blanc, der auf Feuersteinböden wächst, die die charakteristische rauchige Note in den Wein bringen.Die Trauben wurden nach der Ernte von Hand sortiert. Nach der Pressung wurde der Rebsaft auf seinen natürlichen Hefen 33 Tage lang bei 16° vergoren. Bevor der Wein in Flaschen abgefüllt wurde, reifte dieser noch zwei Monate in Edelstahltanks.Der hell glänzende goldgelbe Pouilly Fumé (fumé = geräuchert) ist am Gaumen vollmundig und konzentriert mit Zitrusfrüchten und wunderschöner Mineraltität. In einem langen Abgang zeigt sich der Weißwein ausgewogen und in einer raffinierten Eleganz.

Hardly any other landscape in France is as fascinating as the wine-growing region around the Loire, which is renowned for outstanding wines. The De Ladoucette Pouilly Fume AOC,  is one of these wines, created by Baron de Ladoucette. His winery, the famous Château du Nozet, owned by the family since 1787, is the largest estate in Pouilly-sur-Loire and has been run successfully by the Baron since 1972.The soils on the Loire are characterised by lime, quartz and flint, which made the Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fumé world-famous. The French word ‘fumé’ (i.e. smoked) has a geological background. The flint in the wine-growing region gives the wine its smoky and mineral notes. In addition, the wine is characterised by aromas of tropical fruit, passion fruit, lemon and apple. On the palate, the Pouilly Fumé shows an invigorating acidity and a full body. Its long finish leaves a lasting impression.For optimal enjoyment, we recommend serving this white wine at a drinking temperature of 10-12 °C (50.0-53.6 °F). It is an ideal accompaniment to traditional Loire cuisine. It also goes beautifully with fish and poultry and is lovely to enjoy on its own as well.

The fruit was pressed off as quickly as possible to minimise skin contact and juice deterioration following harvesting. After settling the juice was fermented using selected yeast in 100 per cent stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness. This batch was selected as a Pioneer Block wine due to its unique flavour, intensity and complexity. Crushed herb, blackcurrant bud, passionfruit and gooseberry. The wine has a pale straw yellow color with a green tinge. On the nose, intense aromas of tropical fruits such as melon and passion fruit as well as blackcurrant. Dieser Saint Èmilion Grand Cru aus dem Ausnahmejahr 2015 vom aufstrebenden Château Fonplegade ist ein klassischer Vertreter dieser Appellation. Unter Mitwirkung des Star-Önologen Stéphane Derenoncourt produzieren die Eigentümer Denise und Stephen Adams hier Jahr für Jahr wundervoll schmeichlerische Weine und scheuen dabei keine Kosten und Mühen. Als Beispiel sein genannt, dass die Assemblage, bestehend aus 95% Merlot und 5% Cabernet Franc, 16-20 Monate in 50% neuer französischer Eiche reift. 30% des Weins darf in einjährigen Eichenfässern schlummern, 10% in Betongefässen und 10% in Amphoren.Der Wein ist von tiefem Purpur, mit schönem Granat am Rand. 2015 bringt zum samtigen und fülligen Bouquet, dass durch reife Brombeeren überzeugt, auch noch ein gutes Stück Komplexität mit. Insgesamt ein echter Schmeichler, der durch die vorhandenen, aber gut einbauten Tannine in einer schönen Balance gehalten wird.

Château Haut Batailley, geadelt als Cinquième Cru im Rahmen der Klassifikation von 1855, ist eines der ambitioniertesten Güter in Pauillac und der Flagschiff-Wein der alteingessenen Bordelaiser Familien Castéja und Borie-Manoux.Der Jahrgang 2014 kann als ganz klassischer Standard für das linker Ufer angesehen werden. Die Assemblage besteht aus 78% Cabernet Sauvignon und 22% Merlot. Doch lassen wir René Gabriel für die Beschreibung dieses Rebsaftes zu Worte kommen, der das Ganze sehr treffend charakterisiert:"Tiefes Purpur, satt in der Mitte, Granatschimmer am Rand. Grossartiges, tiefes, warmes Cabernetbouquet, viel dunkle Edelhölzer und Pflaumen. Selten kam ein Haut-Batailley bei der Primeurdegustation so finessenreich daher. Konzentrierter Gaumen, festes Extrakt, sehr guter Rückhalt und eine schon fast ungestüme Cabernetkraft ausstrahlend, fein körniges Finale, welches seine leicht bourgeoise Textur unterstreicht. Dieser Wein wird noch für viele, positive Überraschungen sorgen, nicht zuletzt wegen seinem grossartigen Alterungspotential. Ich persönlich stelle ihn über 2010er. Also ist dies ein ganz grosser Pauillac-Value heuer!"
