Chateau Bellevue la Foret - Rouge

This blend, consisting mainly of Négrette as well as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, has a nose hinting of cherries, violets, blackcurrants and liquorice with nuances of green pepper. The red wine from the Fronton appellation in the south-west of France has a full body and the tannins are wonderfully integrated. Initially, the wine is fresh. Later, it is particularly fruity and spicy with good length.

The Négrette is the appellation’s signature grape. This autochthonous grape variety produces fruity and aromatic wines, intense in colour with a fine tannin structure. Enjoy the Chateau Bellevue la Foret – Rouge with dark poultry, pan-fried or grilled meat or cheeses such as Brie.
