Cielo e Terra Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso IGT - An Italian Appassimento classic from Apulia, lovingly composed from Sangiovese and Primitivo.

This ruby red blend has a wonderful aroma of ripe red fruit. The intense bouquet is the result of the traditional appassimento method, in which the freshly harvested, overripe grapes are dried so that some of the water evaporates, resulting in a higher sugar concentration. On the palate, the Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso IGT has a rich body with soft, sweet tannins.

One third of the wine comes from overripe grapes, which are processed using the appassimento method.
