Conti Zecca I Quattro Gold Primitivo di Manduria

The traditional Winery Conti Zecca is completely dedicated to the wine-growing region of Salento. In the region of Puglia, the heel of the boot of Italy, the conditions are ideal for growing grapes. 100 kilometres long and 40 kilometres wide Salento peninsula is surrounded by the Adriatic and Ionian Sea, so the nights are cool - ideal for high quality viticulture.

The Quattro Gold Primitivo Manduria is a composition consisting of 85% Primitivo di Manduria. The wine has an intense red color. The bouquet offers aromas of ripe red and black fruits and herbs. On the palate the wine is supple, with a good structure. This fine red wine from southern Italy fits nicely with a variety of appetizers, red meat and game dishes.

Tenute Conti Zecca

Epicuro Primitivo Puglia IGT
This 100%-Primitivo with its dark purple colour offers a wonderful variety of flavors with notes of plums and sweet cherries. There is also a subtle spiciness and - typical of Primitivo - a full-bodied fruitiness. On the palate warm, with ripe and soft tannins. The finish is long-lasting. The vines grow on dark, ferruginous and partly volcanic soils. The very hot summers and temperate winters are ideal for the grape variety Primitivo, which is one of the hallmarks of vineyards in Apulia. Enjoy the wine from Apulia (in Italian "Puglia") - the region that forms the "boot heel" of Italy - with hearty meat dishes.
