The Tagaro Pinataro Primitivo impresses with its rich ruby red color and aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries and a hint of vanilla. It is full-bodied, soft and balanced on the palate, a typical Primitivo with Mediterranean charm.

The selectively harvested grapes come from sun-drenched vineyards in Apulia. After fermentation, this red wine is matured partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in wooden barrels - this ensures fullness of fruit and depth.

Tagaro Pinataro Primitivo goes perfectly with grilled meat, spicy pasta or mature cheese and should be enjoyed at a drinking temperature of 18-20 degrees. We recommend a brief aeration before serving.

This wine is made from 30-year-old Primitivo vines that thrive on chalky, red soils in Salento.After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and first undergo cold maceration at 4-5°C for 48 hours.
