Die Weinregion Paarl in Südafrika bringt hervorragende Pinotage Weine hervor. Ein sehr gutes Beispiel dafür ist der Perdeberg Vineyard Collection Pinotage, ein toller Rotwein mit Tiefe und Kraft.

Im Glas zeigt sich dieser Pinotage in einem tiefen Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen. Der Wein duftet herrlich nach Pflaume, Kirsche und reifen Beeren, wie Brombeeren und schwarzen Johannisbeeren, begleitet von einem Hauch Vanillenote. Diese stammt aus der zwölfmonatigen Reifung in 300- und 500 Liter Fässern, wobei zu 95% gebrauchte Holzfässer zum Einsatz kamen. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Perdeberg Vineyard Collection Pinotage mit weichen Tanninen und voller Fruchtaromen. Herrlich fleischiger Abgang.

Der Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon hat eine tiefe rote Farbe. Im Bouquet rote Beeren sowie schwarze Johannisbeeren mit einem Hauch von Kräutern, ergänzt mit Vanille und Schokolade. Der Wein ist geschmeidig, vollmundig mit reifen Tanninen und guter Struktur.Der 100-Prozent Cabernet Sauvignon reifte 18 Monate lang in französischen Eichenfässern. Mit mehr als 20 Hektar Anbaufläche ist Cabernet Sauvignon die bestimmende Traube beim familiengeführten Weingut Warwick, das insgesamt über eine Anbaufläche von 56 Hektar verfügt. Die Ratcliffes erkannten schnell, dass sich das Terroir in der Provinz Westkap ideal für den Anbau von Cabernet Sauvignon eignet. Der erste Wein, den Norma Ratcliffe kreierte, war dementsprechend ein Cabernet Sauvignon. Deshalb trägt er auch den Namen „First Lady“.Der Wein passt gut zu Lammbraten, Eintöpfen und Schweinefleisch.

Seit mehr als 40 Jahren baut das Weingut Château de Chemilly Wein in den verschiedenen Appellationen von Chablis an.Chablis ist der nördlichste Teil des Burgunds und eine der bekanntesten Weißweinherkünfte Frankreichs. Das Weinanbaugebiet ist geprägt von Kreide- und kalkhaltigen Böden, die dem Wein eine gewisse Mineralität verleihen. Die meist angebaute Rebsorte ist Chardonnay, aus der der Chablis erzeugt wird. Der Château de Chemilly Chablis 1er Cru Grande Réserve ist eine Cuvée, deren Trauben aus den Lagen Vosgros und Vaucoupin vereint wurde.Der französische Weißwein leuchtet in einer grün goldenen Farbe. Wunderbare Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten, Zitronenschalen, Äpfeln und Birnen umspielen die Nase. Der Chante Alouette 2018 ist ein typischer Bordeaux vom rechten Ufer aus der Appellation Saint-Émilion. Die Rebberge liegen zwischen solchen berühmten Nachbarn wie Château Pavie und La Gaffeliére; die Sand- und Tonböden sind, neben der sorgfältigen Vinifizierung, dafür verantwortlich, dass hier besonders elegante und reiche Weine mit viel Charme entstehen.Das Château Chante Aloutte wurde 1995 von der Familie Guy d´Arfeuille übernommen, die unter Beachtung und Wertschätzung der Natur das beste aus Tradition und Moderne verknüpft. Der Blend besteht aus 75% Merlot und 25% Cabernet Franc. Der Ausbau erfolgt im Barrique mit einem Neuholzanteil von 30% für ein Jahr.Der 2018er Chante Alouette zeigt eine tief granat-violette Farbe. In der Nase Blaubeeren, Süßkirsche, Lakritz, gebackene Pflaumen, Tabak und Veilchen. Am Gaumen eine wunderschöne Eleganz zeigend, öffnet sich hier eine Welt aus dunklen Früchten mit Schokolade. Viel Samt und gut eingebundene Tannine mit einem intensiven Abgang vervollständigen ein sehr rundes Bild des Ausnahmejahrgangs 2018.Ein wunderbarer Solo-Wein, trinkreif jetzt bis ca. 2038, der auch zu Wild, Geschmortem, gegrilltem Lamm oder Hartkäse eine ausgezeichnete Figur macht.

This exceptional blend of Shiraz, Mourvedre, Grenache Noir and Cinsault maturated in oak barrels. Perdeberg The Dryland Collection Joseph’s Legacy is a tribute to Perdeberg’s legendary winemaker, Joseph Huskisson, who was a visionary in his time at Perdeberg from 1956 to 1994. Only the best barrels from the 2019 vintage were selected for this magnificent blend.Black pepper, cedar, cherry, red berries and vanilla notes are all prominent on the nose.
