Waterkloof Circle of Life White

The Waterkloof Circle of Life White consists of more than 50% Sauvignon Blanc, one third Chenin Blanc and small percentages of Chardonnay and Semillon. This white wine from South Africa has a wonderfully fresh bouquet hinting of lime, grapefruit and peach. On the palate, this blend is clear and fresh, with a certain creaminess, a lovely acidity and a mineral core. Its stimulating finish is characterised by citrus notes.

The Waterkloof estate, located near False Bay, has dedicated itself to producing organic wines for several years. In the beginning, there was criticism of the fact that the quality of the wines was affected by natural viticulture. This is certainly no longer the case. In the recent South Africa report in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, the Waterkloof winery has received a number of excellent rankings (90 points).

In this Waterkloof Circle of Life White you’ll discover a fine white wine blend from the Cape, which is wonderfully accessible, simultaneously showing a lovely depth.

Aaldering Florence Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc
This fine blend from South Africa is redolent of ripe tropical fruit. On the palate, the wine shows a lovely minerality, an impressive length and a great balance as well. The Aaldering Florence Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc is a blend consisting equally of the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grape varieties. The grapes come from the Devon Valley in the Stellenbosch region. Enjoy this young, fresh white wine from South Africa with sushi, sashimi, savoury tomato soup or young goat’s cheese. The Aaldering Florence Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc is also a lovely taste experience to enjoy simply on its own as an aperitif.

Waterkloof Circumstance Chenin Blanc
This Chenin Blanc from the Waterkloof estate has a wonderfully fresh bouquet hinting of green apple and stone fruit, along with fine nuances of honey and almond marzipan cream. The Waterkloof Circumstance Chenin Blanc is full-bodied and fresh on the palate, with a lovely, mild acidity and an elegant, prolonged finish. The grapes for this white wine come from vineyards located near False Bay. It is an ideal accompaniment to various cheeses. This straw yellow Chenin was produced using natural methods.
