The Waterkloof Circumstance Cabernet Franc unites diverse notes of red fruit such as blackberries, pepper and a Mediterranean spice in its bouquet. On the palate, the wine offers a lovely acidity that harmonises perfectly with the velvety tannins. This Cabernet Franc from South Africa matured for 20 months in French oak casks. It has a prolonged finish and is an excellent accompaniment to succulent meat.

The Waterkloof Circumstance Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense bouquet offering notes of ripe red fruit, which harmonise wonderfully with nuances of graphite. The red wine from vineyards located near False Bay is remarkably concentrated on the palate, with noticeable but nicely integrated tannins. This Chenin Blanc from the Waterkloof estate has a wonderfully fresh bouquet hinting of green apple and stone fruit, along with fine nuances of honey and almond marzipan cream. The Waterkloof Circumstance Chenin Blanc is full-bodied and fresh on the palate, with a lovely, mild acidity and an elegant, prolonged finish. The grapes for this white wine come from vineyards located near False Bay. It is an ideal accompaniment to various cheeses. This straw yellow Chenin was produced using natural methods. Its grapes come from bush vines that are cultivated without wire trellis training systems. This is also characteristic of Waterkloof’s philosophy. Die Familien Moulin und Cathiard haben 2014 Beauregard übernommen und die Qualität nochmals auf ein höheres Niveau gehoben. Dem Benjamin de Beauregard kommt dabei bei der Weinbereitung die selbe Sorgfalt zu, wie dem Grand Vin. Die Ernte wird auf Beauregard vollständig manuell ausgeführt. Der Benjamin wird im Holzfass ausgebaut, mit 30% Neufassanteil. Er ist von rubinroter Farbe. Die Nase umschmeicheln milde Düfte von dunklen Kirschen, Paprika, Karamell, Pflaumen und Kräutern. Am Gaumen überwiegen vor allem die Früchte und die feine Struktur imponiert. Der Abgang ist ebenfalls durch dunkle Früchte charakterisiert. Der Wein zeigt eine schöne Balance und Ausgeglichenheit. Er ist jetzt bereits nach etwas dekantieren trinkreif, bleibt aber durchaus noch 8 Jahren auf dem Höhepunkt. Köstlich in Kombination mit rotem Fleisch, Wildgerichten und Käse.
