Die Bodega wurde 1998 gegründet und liegt in der Gemeinde Ablitas in der Region Navarra in Spanien. Sie ist eine der modernsten Bodegas in Navarra und produziert hier auf 120 Hektar hochwertige Weine aus Chardonnay, Merlot, Tempranillo, Syrah und Cabernet Sauvignon.

Die Böden aus Lehm, Sand und Kalkstein bieten dem Önologen Jean Marc Sauboua, der bereits auf Château Haut Brion erfolgreich wirkte, optimale Voraussetzungen für den Weinbau.

Die Weine sind hervorragend und so wurde die Bodegas Iñaki Núñez vom englischen Wein-Magazin "Decanter" als eins der 100 besten Weingüter der Welt ausgezeichnet.

Inhaber Inaki Nunez ist auch als erfolgreicher Filmproduzent bekannt. Seine zweite Leidenschaft, den Weinanbau, kann er seit 1996 mit Hingabe pflegen, als er das alte Weingut Pago de Cirsus in der Navarra kaufte und in kürzester Zeit zu Höchstleistungen führte.

Die Bodega liegt ungefähr 400 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Das trockene Klima und die intensive Sonne in der Region mit wenig Niederschlag garantieren ausgereifte, konzentrierte und kraftvolle Weine.

The grapes come from vineyards planted in calcareous clay and gravel soils between 240 and 500 meters in the areas Ora, Tramin and Egna.The grapes were gently pressed immediately following harvest.
