Der aus den Rebsorten Grenache und Vermentino, in der Provence auch Rolle genannt, vinifizierte Rosé vereint Frische und Komplexität in einer einzigartigen Form. Am Gaumen vollmundig und cremig zugleich. Große Vielfalt an Aromen und ausgezeichnete Balance schaffen ein reiches elegantes Mundgefühl. Château d'Esclans Garrus

This rosé from Château d'Esclans is phenomenal. Fragrant notes of mango and nectarine on the nose. On the palate, spicy and minerally with impressive depth. The finish is exceptionally long. An unforgettable rosé of Côtes de Provence, created mainly of Grenache and a minor proportion Rolle (Vermentino).The grapes for the Château d'Esclans Garrus come from vines that are at least 80 years old. For this rosé the Saignée method was used (90% free run juice, 10% first slight pressing). Eight months matured the wine in oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage, the stirring of the lees. The Wine Spectator writes: "Shows impressive length and precision. A gorgeous rose. "Château d'Esclans Garrus: A rosé at Grand Cru level, and it remains unique in Provence. Just enjoy, for example to pies, grilled fish or seafood in a creamy sauce.

Especially Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino) come together in this Rosé, also smaller amounts of Cinsault and Syrah. Notes of white peach, cherry and a subtle spiciness on the nose. On the palate dry, elegant and silky, with a long lasting finish.The Château d'Esclans Esclans is an outstanding rosé from the Côtes de Provence. Some of the grapes come from vines that are over 80 years old. The grapes were selected meticulously. For this rosé the Saignée method was used. The result is pure flavor and taste.

Château d'Esclans The Pale Rosé by Sacha Lichine

„Die Provence ist die spirituelle Heimat des Rosés“, erklärte Sacha Lichine vor einige Zeit im Falstaff. Mit seinem Chateau d’Esclans setzt er seit vielen Jahren Maßstäbe in der internationalen Weinwelt und wird vor allem für seine Rosé-Kreationen (z.B. Whispering Angel) bewundert. Nun kommt der Chateau d’Esclans The Pale hinzu. Und wieder gelingt es Lichine einen Rosé anzubieten, der in jeder Hinsicht heraussticht und Eindruck hinterlässt.Das Bukett ist herrlich fruchtig-frisch und intensiv. Es bietet Noten von geschnittenem Apfel, Pfirsich und pinker Grapefruit, von Zitrone und Wassermelone sowie Nuancen von Ananas. Am Gaumen ist der knochentrockene Rosé weich und bemerkenswert aromatisch. Genießerinnen und Genießer können sich auf ein tolles Aromenspiel von Maracuja, Minze und Limette freuen. Der mittelkräftige, elegante Chateau d’Esclans The Pale verführt auch mit seiner spritzigen Säure. Das Finale hallt noch lange nach.5 bis 8 Monate wurde der französische Rosé von Sacha Lichine im Edelstahltank ausgebaut. Auch die Gestaltung hinterlässt bleibenden Eindruck: eine extravagante Flasche mit abgeschrägtem Sockel, dazu ein Etikett, das mit einem Augenzwinkern an die Roaring Twenties, die Aufbruchstimmung in den 1920er-Jahren erinnert.

Whispering Angel Rose

Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino), Cinsault and Syrah come together in the Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel. This seductive rosé from the Côtes de Provence offers wonderful notes of strawberry, lemon, cherry and jasmine. On the palate, with nice minerality and elegance.Hard to believe, but this is an entry level wine of the Château. To provide all the freshness and the wonderful fruitiness, this rosé was not aged in oak barrels.Enjoy the Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel with pies, grilled fish or meats and seafood in a creamy sauce.
