Der Jean Bousquet Chardonnay reifte zuerst im Edelstahltank, anschließend 4 Monate auf der Flasche. Nicht wie andere Weine, hat dieser Chardonnay bewusst keine Holzreifung erfahren. Dadurch ist der Weißwein ein perfekte Essensbegleiter mit einzigartigen Fruchtaromen. Die Trauben von dem Weingut Domaine Bousquet stammen aus den Regionen Mendoza und Tupungato in Argentinien, welche hervorragende Klimabedingungen auf einer Höhe von 1000 Meter für das Reifen der Reben bieten.Der reinsortige Chardonnay kommt aus einem biologischen Anbau und zeigt sich in einer hellgelben Farbe mit grünen Reflexen. In der Nase ist der Jean Bousquet Chardonnay geprägt von tropischen Fruchtaromen mit floralen- und Zitrusnoten. Am Gaumen angekommen, entfaltet der trockene Weißwein Aromen von Apfel, Birne und Limette mit einem leichten Ton süßer Gewürze.Dieser Weißwein lässt sich ideal zu Vorspeisen, Meeresfrüchten und Fischgerichten bei einer empfohlenen Trinktemperatur von 10-12 °C genießen.

Eye: Opaque violet, almost black color typical of top quality Argentine Malbec.Nose: Intense aromas recalling ripe red berries, plums, blackcurrant, black pepper with notes of candied fruit and marmalade. Subtle notes of chocolate, coffee and nuts are given by its long ageing in new French oak.Palate: Silky palate and soft rounded tannins with notes of blackberries, spices, truffles providing aromatic complexity for an exquisite finish.Aging: 100% French oak for 12 months and at least 12 months bottle ageing.Food Pairing: This wine goes well with grilled red meats, meats with rich sauces, cheeses as well as chocolate based deserts.

Jean Bousquet combines the knowhow of a European wine master with the exceptional climate and terrior of Argentina. The Vineyard is located in the Andean foothills at 1200 meters above sea level. The temperature amplitude creates a harvest of fully ripened grapes with excellent acidity.This wine has rich intense aromas of bleckberry fruit with spicy black pepper notes, blackcurrant and cassis. The palate reveals an elegant personality with spicy, layered red and black fruits, with silky tannins and a plush finish.
