Vite Colte Barbera d'Asti Luna e i Falo Superiore DOCG

Der Vite Colte Barbera d'Asti Superiore Luna e i Falo besteht zu 100% aus der Rebsorte Barbera. Die Rebfläche in der bekannten Weinregion Piemont umfasst 60 Hektar und wird von den Winzern sorgfältig gepflegt. Der Ertrag ist niedrig, aber von hoher Qualität. Ziel des Weinguts Vite Colte ist es einen besseren Wein mit dem besten Gleichgewicht zwischen Struktur und Aroma zu erhalten.Die Weinbereitung erfolgt auf traditionelle Weise mit einer 10-tägigen Mazeration bei einer Temperatur von 20-30 °C, gefolgt von der malolaktischen Gärung. Der Wein reift ca. 12 Monate in Barriques, in denen sich dieser gut strukturierte Barbera weiter verbessert und sich zu einem komplexen und eleganten Wein entwickelt.

In the nose, the Terre da Vite Colte d’Asti San Nicolao is intense and appetizing with marvellous notes of plums and cherries as well as a fine spice. For a Barbera d’Asti, this red wine is surprisingly mild, dry and medium to full-bodied with a wonderfully long finish.This wine from the Piedmont region can be enjoyed now but can age for a few more years if desired. The Barbera grapes for this fine wine come from vineyards in the heart of Asti in the Agliano region close to Rocchetta Tanaro. The Barbera d’Asti San Nicolao has a long fermentation time and ageing period in the bottle, giving the red wine its deep colour.
