Wente Vineyards Chardonnay stands for the finest creations from the Livermore Valley near the San Francisco Bay. The morning coastal fog pushed by the Pacific winds to the vineyards of the traditional winery, lets mature the Chardonnay grapes very consistently. So wonderfully balanced wines develop with a beautiful minerality and acidity.The Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay is a blend of Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. On the nose it offers invigorating aromas of apples and tropical fruits, which are wonderfully complemented by flavors of vanilla and toast. On the palate, full-bodied and with nice acidity.The fresh, crisp white wine was aged for five months to 50% in American oak and to 50% in stainless steel tanks to emphasize the natural fruit flavors. Enjoy this wine from Wente. The winery was founded in 1883 and has developed an international name among others by its Chardonnay wines.

Die Weinberge von dem Weingut The Hess Collection sind bekannt dafür, dass sie Jahr für Jahr wundervoll strukturierte, saftige Chardonnays mit erfrischender Säure hervorzubringen. Dieser Wein stammt aus der Hess Select Series, welche von den erfahrensten Winzern mit viel Liebe und Leidenschaft vinifiziert wird und zugleich weltbekannte Chardonnays aus Kalifornien hervorbringt.Im Glas ist der reinsortige Chardonnay gelblich mit goldenen Reflexen. Das Bouquet wird von tropischen Früchten geprägt. Dieser trockene Weißwein präsentiert sich würzig und ausgesprochen fruchtig mit Aromen grüner Äpfel sowie Noten reifer Birnen, Pfirsiche und Zitrusnoten. Der Ausbau erfolgt zu gewissen Teilen in Barrique Fässern, wodurch eine schöne Struktur und leichte Vanillenoten entstehen.Der Hess Select Chardonnay ist ein perfekter Begleiter zu Meeresfrüchten, knackigen Sommersalaten oder asiatischen Gerichten und sollte bei einer empfohlenen Trinktemperatur von 8-10 °C getrunken werden.
