Barramundi steht für Leichtigkeit. Dieses Lebensgefühl vermittelt das australische Weingut Qualia Wines durch seine Weine. Die Trauben des reinsortigen Barramundi Sauvignon Blanc wachsen in Victoria, einer Weinregion im Südosten des Kontinents. Die Ernte findet nachts statt und die Beeren werden bei niedriger Temperatur (13-14°C) fermentiert. Hierdurch wird eine gewisse Frische erhalten. Im Anschluss der Gärung reift der Weißwein auf der Hefe, was den Sauvignon Blanc weicher macht und zusätzliche Komplexität verleiht.

Im Glas zeigt sich der herrlich frische Wein in einem zitronengelb mit grünem Schimmer. In der Nase finden sich Gerüche von Apfel, Limette und tropischen Früchten. Der Geschmack ist angenehm fruchtig und erfrischend mit lebendiger Säure. Noten von Blüten und frisch geschnittenem Gras umschmeicheln den Gaumen.

Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Escolha Vinho Verde DOC

Der Muros Antigos Escolha, DOC Vinho Verde aus dem Nordwesten Portugals ist eine Cuvee aus den Rebsorten Alvarinho, Loureiro und Avesso. Dabei haben die einzelnen Rebsorten ganz unterschiedliche Stärken, die sie gemeinsam ausspielen. Der Alvarinho gibt dem Wein Struktur, Kraft und Körper. Der Loureiro intensives Aroma und Finesse und der Avesso steuert die Säure und Mineralität bei. Die Trauben des Escolha DOC Vinho Verde wurden nach dem Entrappen sanft gepresst. Es folgte eine sehr kalte Mostklärung und die Gärung bei einer Temperatur von 12 bis 16 Grad Celsius. Die Reifung erreichte der Winzer durch das Belassen des Weins auf der Hefe für 4 Monate. Der Wein duftet nach Blumen und viel grünen Früchten. Der Geschmack ist knackig frisch und sehr fruchtig. Das Mundgefühl zeichnet eine gute Balance und Struktur aus. Ein ausgeglichener, harmonischer Wein.
