The bouquet offers finely chiselled fruit flavours of red berries. On the palate, the wine shows an enchanting aroma of raspberries and cherries, having a mild, velvety and silky texture with fine tannins and an elegant finish.

Food recommendation: This wine is an ideal accompaniment to feathered game (pheasant, partridge, wild duck) and goes beautifully with meat and game pâté or marinated beef (carpaccio, beef tartare). We especially recommend ’Schinkenfleckerl’ (pasta with ham in the Austrian style)!

Er ist mild und samtig in der Struktur, im Abgang lang anhaltend, aber noch jugendlich.Ein Rotwein mit Potential.Trinken Sie den Wein am besten zu Schinken, Wurstwaren, kalten Platten, die überwiegend aus Fleischgerichten bereitet sind, sowie zu vielen Wildgerichten; selbstverständlich auch zu Schnitt- und Hartkäse.

Bründlmayer Zweigelt

The grapes used for the Bründlmayer Zweigelt ripen in the wine-growing area of Kamptal, located about 80 kilometres west of Vienna. In the nose, the wine is spicy with lovely flavours of wild berries and toasted notes, complemented by a brief hint of pepper. The mild to medium-bodied wine has a relatively youthful tannin content.The Bründlmayer Zweigelt matured in stainless steel tanks and in mostly used Austrian oak casks. Zweigelt is a blend consisting of the two autochthonous Austrian St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch grape varieties and is highly regarded throughout Austria for its fruitiness and freshness.Enjoy this Austrian red wine with pasta, light game dishes and, in summer, slightly cooled with BBQ.

Schales Portugieser QbA lieblich 1 Liter

Das Weingut Schales versucht mit der Rebsorte Blauer Portugieser auch alte und nicht mehr so beliebte Rebsorten zu erhalten. Die Anbaufläche ging in Deutschland in den letzten 30 Jahren um fast die Hälfte zurück. Andere internationale Rebsorten traten in den Vordergrund. Der Portugieser hat bei sorgfältigem Anbau aber die Gabe frische und feine Weine hervorzubringen. Lieblich ausgebaut, wie in diesem Falle, ist der Schales Portugieser sehr zart und mild mit wenig Alkohol für einen Rotwein. Geprägt ist der Wein von einem reifen Fruchtaroma mit wenig Tannin und dabei sehr rund und schmackhaft. Ein Wein der zu fast jeder Gelegenheit passt.

Winzer Krems Edition Chremisa Grüner Veltliner

This spicy Grüner Veltliner is wonderfully typical of this varietal. It is redolent of fine pepper and fruit such as quince and Golden Delicious apples. The wine is well-balanced, with piquant sweetness and acidity as well as a long finish. In 995, the city of Krems on the Danube was first mentioned as ‘Urbs Chremisa’. In its honour, the new premium wines produced by the Krems wine-growers are called ‘Edition Chremisa’. The basis for these outstanding qualities was created through years of preparation. The wine-growers produce the very best grapes from selected vineyards under cultivation conditions close to nature, with complex processing in areas which are often difficult to access. The grapes are picked selectively by hand in several stages.This wine has a high ageing potential. Another 1 to 2 years of ageing in the wine cellar will fully develop its power, which will be further enhanced under ideal storage conditions.

This wine matured for two years in oak casks. It shows dense fruit (black cherries, sour cherries) on the palate, with well-integrated wooden notes and velvety tannins. Its finish offers fine hints of dark chocolate. Best time to drink: now and in the coming 10 to 15 years The wine goes beautifully with heavy roast poultry and various game dishes. It is also an ideal accompaniment to steaks, fillet of beef and game pâté. You’ll enjoy trying it with hard cheeses (Parmesan, Gouda, alpine cheese, etc.) as well.

Lagrein DOC in matured 7-10 month in large wooden barrels. The 100% Lagrein from the winery Cantina Terlan has a dark garnet color. On the nose, intensely fruity.
