Product recommendation

Cava Anna de Codorniu Blanc de Blancs Magnum Brut
This brut, which is both soft and fresh on the palate, displays the liveliness and femineity that its name suggests. It is the first time Chardonnay has been blended with cava’s classic grape trio and the result highlights the fresh floral and fruit aromas of the ageing process. This Cava is soft and fresh to the palate. Light and aromatic. We think you shouldn't miss it with the great crustaceans (lobster, giant crabs, etc). Also with white and tight-flesh fishes (sole, dorade, sea bass). Serve chilled. Drink in a flute glass.

Graham Beck Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Brut 1,5 Liter Magnum
An all round crowd pleaser and extremely versatile bubbly crafted from a selection of the classic MCC varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Both varietals were hand-picked: Chardonnay at 18-19.5°B for fruit and elegance and Pinot Noir at 18.5-20°B for complexity and length of flavour. In the cellar whole bunch pressing ensures fractional recovery. After settling of the juice the two varieties are fermented separately. They are then cross-blended along with reserve wine if necessary, bottled and left for 15 to 18 months yeast contact time before disgorgement. Light yeasty aromas and secondary tones of limey fresh fruit on the nose with rich creamy complexity on the palate. The exceptionally fine mousse contributes freshness and finesse.

Production area: Selected vineyards of Neviera and Casa Rossa, located in San Marzano district. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides. The climate is characterised by high temperatures all year round, very few rainfalls and a wide difference of temperature between night and day, which has a nice influence on the quality of grapes. This is the “classical” central area of d.o.c. ”Primitivo di Manduria” Harvest period: Third decade of August, first decade of September Vinification: Hand-harvested in small baskets. Maceration: 18 days with selected autochtonous yeasts. Thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation at 24-26 °C Maturation: In French oak barrels for 6 months Tasting notes: Intense ruby red colour, wide and complex to the nose, fruity, with prunes, cherry jam aroma, with notes of tobacco, slightly spicy. Full-bodied wine, soft and rich in fine tannins, with notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla in the end. Best served with: Red meat, game, savoury first courses. Meditation wine
