The Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) from the Palatinate region is redolent of apricots and pears with notes of citrus fruits and pineapple. On the palate, the full-bodied white wine has a noticeable but pleasant acidity content as well as a beautiful glaze. The grapes of this wine come from a vineyard which is more than 40 years old. The Studier Weissburgunder trocken (dry Pinot Blanc) matured in stainless steel tanks. Try this mild Pinot Blanc from the Studier estate with any light meal, white meat, fish and oriental dishes.

This Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) shows a bouquet uniting notes of almond blossom and apricot. The white wine from the Palatinate region is pleasantly soft on the palate. It has a moderate acidity, yet is lean and lively. Furthermore, the Studier Grauburgunder has a mineral note and is earthy and expressive without being powerful. This wine is an excellent fresh Grauburgunder with clear fruit flavours and a lovely accompaniment to roasted and grilled meat, spicy vegetable dishes and strong cheeses such as Emmentaler, Appenzeller and Comté. It is a beautiful representative of the Palatinate viticulture as produced by the Studier estate.

Hensel Aufwind Grauburgunder

Thomas Hensel is one of 20 wineries in Bad Dürkheim. His 17-hectare vineyard is located next to the local "airport" (airfield). Thomas is 35 years young, ambitious, energetic and courageous enough to be innovative. Classic Burgundy with notes of fresh leaves, hazelnuts and a hint of vanilla. By a subtle use of oak barrels the wine gains in complexity and flavor, without losing its freshness and unique character. On the palate it is dynamic and fresh with very lean structure.
