Der Pfannebecker Pfeddersheimer Grauburgunder QbA trocken gehört zu den Ortsweinen des rheinhessischen Weinguts Pfannebecker. Er wächst in den alten Weinbergen der Gemarkung Pfeddersheim. Bereits in der Spätantike wurde hier Wein kultiviert. Heute werden die Lagen mit biologischem Weinbau bewirtschaftet.

Der Grauburgunder reift auf natürlicher Hefe der Trauben, zu 50% im großen Holzfass. Bis zur Abfüllung bleibt er auf der Feinhefe. Er überzeugt mit eleganter Frische, ist leicht mineralisch und bringt einen Hauch Hefearoma mit. Ein voller, runder Abgang schließt sich an. Dieser Wein bleibt im Gedächtnis.

Der Pfannebecker Pfeddersheimer Grauburgunder QbA ist ein Weißwein von Format, der ausgezeichnet zu gegrilltem Geflügel und hellem Fleisch passt. Er sollte gut gekühlt getrunken werden, dann kommen die frischen Noten besonders gut zur Geltung.

The Rhineland-Palatinate winery Dönnhoff on the Nahe is world renowned for its white wines. This Pinot Gris is full of character and intense. On the palate dry and strong, but not overloaded. Six months this white wine matured in traditional large wooden barrels of German oak. Its pleasant fruitiness is still very present, enriched by subtle oak notes.At the Middle Nahe the grapes matured. They originate from about 30 years old vines. Volcanic residual soil and loess form the basis of this fine white wine. Enjoy the Dönnhoff Pinot Gris as an aperitif or with fish dishes.

Ein Selektionswein aus besten Trauben ist der Walsheimer Silberberg Grauburgunder 'Selection' QbA trocken des Weinguts Karl Pfaffmann. Dieser Weißwein begeistert schon beim Entkorken mit einem fruchtig-frischen Bouquet aus saftiger Ananas, begleitet von Birne und Limette. Die Komposition aus den edelsten und gesündesten Trauben mit ihren harmonischen Rundungen verzaubert im Abgang mit zarten Mandeltönen. Dieser Grauburgunder wurde zu 100 Prozent aus Burgunder-Trauben vom Silberberg in einer der besten deutschen Weinlagen gekeltert. Er zeigt eine konzentrierte Fruchtigkeit mit anschmiegsamer Seite und hat eine angenehm helle, sanfte gelbe Farbe.Ihr Aroma entfaltet diese Selection am besten bei einer Trinktemperatur von 8 bis 10 °C. Sie passt hervorragend zu gegrilltem Fleisch, zu Gerichten aus Schweinefleisch und zu Fisch, ist aber auch perfekt für die gemütliche Runde am Abend mit guten Freunden geeignet.

This Pinot Gris from Baden is clear, elegant, typical of this varietal, racy and stimulating in taste. On the palate, it shows noticeable tannins, giving the Salwey Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) RS QbA a long finish. The white wine is medium-bodied. Eighty per cent of the grapes for this excellent white wine come from the Käsleberg vineyards consisting of natural loess-loam soils. The remaining 20% of the grapes are taken from the Henkenberg and Eichberg Grand Cru vineyards of volcanic origin. The Pinot Gris matured in large wooden casks made of Oberrotweil oak. Oberrotweil im Kaiserstuhl is home to the renowned family-owned Salwey winery. Try this dry, pure varietal Pinot Gris with fried turbot and citrus beurre blanc. It is also an excellent accompaniment to risotto with white truffle.

Thomas Hensel is one of 20 wineries in Bad Dürkheim. His 17-hectare vineyard is located next to the local "airport" (airfield). Thomas is 35 years young, ambitious, energetic and courageous enough to be innovative. Classic Burgundy with notes of fresh leaves, hazelnuts and a hint of vanilla. By a subtle use of oak barrels the wine gains in complexity and flavor, without losing its freshness and unique character. On the palate it is dynamic and fresh with very lean structure.
