In the province of Chieti, the wine producer Caldora managed in a remarkably short time to make an international name, mainly thanks to its good vineyards near the Adriatic coast. In der Nase weich, duftend, an Pflaumen und Lakritz erinnernd. Danach wird der Wein noch bis zu 3 Monate in der Flasche ausgebaut.Trotz seiner Jugend zeigt diese Spezialität aus den Abruzzen eine undurchdringliche, sehr dunkle Farbe im Glas. Diese harmoniert mit dem reifen Duft nach Pflaumen, Kirschen und Lakritz, der typisch für diese Rebsorte ist. Der Fosso Corno Riserva ist eine Kreation aus 100% Montepulciano-Trauben, die ausschließlich vom Weingut Fosso Corno stammen. Zur Reifung lagerte dieser italienische Wein 12 Monate lang in Edelstahlbehältern und anschließend 12 Monate in Eichenholzfässern. Zur Verfeinerung blieb er weitere 2-3 Monate in der Flasche, bevor er auf dem Markt erhältlich ist.
