Negroamaro is one of the distinctive grape varieties from Apulia that ripen at the heel of the Italian boot and produce wines of fascinating quality. The pure varietal Epicuro Negroamaro di Puglia IGP unites wonderfully diverse notes of dark fruit such as blackberries, plums and cherries, along with nuances of black olives, liquorice and a little cinnamon. On the palate, this red wine, which was aged in stainless steel tanks, is full-bodied, velvety and very fruity, with a fine spice.

Try this deep ruby-red wine from South Italy with pasta variations with hearty meat sauces, steaks or Southern Italian cuisine, which is renowned for its pizzas and various casseroles. This lovely, uncomplicated taste experience from Apulia offers impressively good value for money.

Die Weinkellerei Femar Vini in der Nähe von Rom gibt es seit 1950. Sie entstand aus der Fusion mehrerer kleiner Weinkellereien der Castelli Romani. Femar Vini besitzt ungefähr 40 Hektar eigene Weinberge, verarbeitet aber auch Trauben von weiteren Winzern aus ganz Italien, die den Qualitätsansprüchen von Femar Vini entsprechen. Die hohe Qualität spiegelt sich unter anderem in den bekannten Epicuro-Weinen wider, die nach dem griechischen Philosophen Epikur (341–271 v. Chr.) benannt sind. Die Weinkellerei arbeitet heute mit modernsten Anlagen für eine schonende Verarbeitung des Lesegutes, die Basis für die kontinuierlich hohen Qualitäten der Epicuro-Weine.

Diese Auswahl zeigt, dass dieser italienische Wein einen kraftvollen Geschmack mitbringt, und Tannine hier eine entscheidende Rolle spielen.Das Bouquet hält dieses Versprechen: Würzige Anklänge, vermischt mit intensiven Noten nach roten Früchten zeugen von der Tiefe, die sich am Gaumen erfüllt.
