Mea Culpa Vino Rosso
‘Mea Culpa’ means ‘my fault’. Mario Minini from the Cantine Minini estate used this expression ironically to name his outstanding red wine. In his opinion, he created the best cuvée that can be made using the Appassimento method. The Mea Culpa Vino Rosso in an extraordinary wine in all respects. The Primitivo, Shiraz and Merlot grapes for the Appassimento cuvée come from two very different wine-growing regions in Italy. The Primitivo grapes come from Apulia, of course, while the Shiraz and Merlot grapes come from Sicily, wonderfully uniting to create this excellent blend. The responsible wine-maker Mario Minini and his team of oenologists worked on the optimal composition of this blend for a long time. The result is a medium-dry red wine, offering an abundance of aromas on the nose.Fine notes of chocolate, nuances of tobacco and strong fruit aromas of blackberries, strawberries and dark cherries unite with notes of mocha and vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows a vivid acidity and a fine tannin structure. The full but elegant body has an exquisite structure. Due to the ageing in 225-litre oak casks made of French oak, the Mea Culpa Vino Rosso offers notes of vanilla and tobacco in its finish. It is an ideal accompaniment to meals. It goes beautifully with gnocchi or homemade spaetzle with beef roulade and cabbage vegetables.Enjoy this Primitivo from Sicily at a drinking temperature of 16-18 °C (46.4-50.0 °F).

Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP
The Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP fulfills all the requirements that connoisseurs have for a genuine Primitivo from Apulia. The Italian red wine is deep and intense, with a ripe variety of aromas that it was able to develop during barrel ageing.Even though the Primitivo grape enjoys its Californian fame under the name Zinfandel, the vine is as Italian as it gets. In its country of origin, it displays a mature fullness, as in the Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP from the Tenute Eméra winery, and is matured for over a year in French oak barrels. The ageing process delights the palate with typical notes of wood, leather and tobacco, which are wonderfully contrasted by the fruit. This gives the tannins a very soft face, which unfolds particularly pleasantly in the long finish.Since 1974, this wine has been bottled by the Tagaro winery since the 2022 vintage, previously by Tenute Eméra.This authentic wine from Italy unfolds its full depth with game, roasts or flavorful pasta dishes. The drinking temperature should be 17-18 °C. This semi-dry wine is vegan and should ideally be decanted.

Masca del Tacco Lu’Li Appassite
This deep ruby-red wine from Apulia is redolent of wild berries, red blossoms, Mediterranean herbs, humus and eucalyptus. Its exceptional bouquet is also the result of the traditional Appassimento method, a special drying process of the grapes. The freshly harvested, overripe grapes are partially dried so that some of the water evaporates, leading to a higher sugar concentration. The Lu Li Appassimento from the Masca del Tacco estate is wonderfully fruity, well-balanced and full-bodied on the palate, with a long finish. You’ll want to discover this blend consisting of Primitivo and Negroamaro with grilled meat, polenta, savoury first courses and medium-aged cheese as well. This is a wonderful wine based on the traditional art of Apulian viticulture and its particular conditions.
