Nero Grande Appassite Puglia IGP

This wonderfully intense red wine from Apulia offers majestic notes of blueberries and blackberries, well rounded off by hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and warm, with lovely, sweet nuances.

Using the traditional Appassimento method, the grapes ripen beyond the ripeness date and dry on the vines. They shrivel almost to the size of a raisin, thus gaining aromas, acidity and a higher sugar concentration. The exceptionally rich wines produced from these grapes are characterised by an intense bouquet offering notes of dried fruit. These wines are also full-bodied and show a remarkable spice.

The Italian wine expert Luca Maroni awarded this wine 97 points (Luca Maroni Award 2018).

Femar Vini
