Spatus 8 Nero di Troja Puglia

This ruby-red wine from Apulia is redolent of cherries, blackberries and raspberries. The pure varietal Nero di Troia (also referred to as Uva di Troia [‘grape of Troia’]) is full-bodied and fresh on the palate, with soft, beautifully integrated tannins and a fine spice. The Spatus 8 Nero di Troia Puglia has a prolonged finish. The number 8 classifies the wine as a single vineyard wine. The vines of this vineyard are over 40 years old.
This ruby-red wine is made from southern Italy’s autochthonous grape variety. It matured for 12 months in barriques and another six months in the bottle.
Enjoy the Nero di Troia with pasta variations, vegetable dishes and grilled meat. The Spatus 8 Nero di Troia Puglia is also a good accompaniment to creamy cheeses and nuts and always goes beautifully with well-seasoned meals.
