The powerful, spicy component comes from the wine grapes from Monforte d'Alba and Castiglione Faletto.Color: deep ruby redDescription: very fragrant complexity: Ripe red and black fruits, hints of roses and violets, spicy-peppery nuances and a hint of licorice. The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities.
