Rotari Cuvèe 28+ Rose

Produced with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes that are harvested by hand and grown in the hills of Trentino. The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested slightly early so that characteristic aromatic notes of red fruit can be brought to the nose, and structure, richness and importance can be brought to the palate.

Metodo Classico, Método Tradicional, Methode Champenoise: are all ways of identifying the earliest and most refined production method of sparkling wines obtained through a second fermentation in the bottle.
Talento identifies the excellence of Italian sparkling wine. As a matter of fact, since 2005 the use of “Talento” is exclusively reserved to sparkling wines produced with the second fermentation in bottle and may only be made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco grapes, of which the finest are preserved to obtain quality sparkling wines with a minimum of 15 months second fermentation.

Die Kellerei Rotari verdankt ihren Namen dem langobardischen König Rotari, welcher in Südtirol die wichtigsten Schlachten zur Eroberung Italiens führte. Die Cantina Rotari gehört zur Gruppo Mezzacorona und ist die größte Kellerei Italiens für die Produktion von Schaumwein. Sie liegt im Zentrum der Dolomiten und besitzt ungefähr 2500 Hektar Weinberge. Hier werden hauptsächlich Chardonnay und Pinot Nero Reben angebaut. Rotari ist noch ein recht junges Weingut, das sich ausschließlich der Produktion von Schaumweinen der Metodo Classico verschrieben hat. Qualität wird stets groß geschrieben.

Der Rotari Rosé Brut beispielsweise reift 24 Monate lang und wird im gleichen Verfahren erzeugt wie guter Champagner. Dreiviertel Pinot und ein Viertel Chardonnay lassen fruchtige aber auch kräftige Weine mit besonderer Eleganz hervorkommen.

Champagne Deutz Brut Rose
A many-hued colour with strong pink tinges and fine bubbles. The nose is fresh and direct, with aromas reminiscent of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and redcurrants.On the palate, the wine shows a deliciously full body that follows on perfectly from the nose. Its flavours remind one of fresh strawberries and raspberries. The finish has a pleasantly acidulous character that adds to the impression of finesse given by this romantic and well-balanced wine.The champagne made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reimsregion, and from Premiers Crus andGrands Crus. Its specific style and colour are the result of blending in 8% of red wine produced from a plot of old vines on the hill of Aÿ, and from a plot known as “Meurtet”. Both are particularly well sited and belong to Deutz. The red wine is made by our cellar-master. The Pongracz Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Rosé consists of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir grapes give this sparkling wine its soft salmon-pink colour. The term used for South African sparkling wines made with the traditional French method is Méthode Cap Classique or MCC, and corresponds to the production method used in the Champagne region. This sparkling wine is certainly a match for many champagnes.
