Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Lagrein Alto Adige DOC

Noten von Veilchen, Kirschen und auch Schokolade prägen das Bukett des Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Lagrein. Der Rotwein aus Südtirol ist am Gaumen voll und rund. Die feinkörnigen Gerbstoffe und die belebende Säure harmonieren wunderbar. Die autochthone Rebsorte Südtirols entfaltet hier ihre Qualitäten und verführt mit ihrer samtigen Fülle und der feinen Säure.

Im Glas schimmert der reinsortige Lagrein in einem kräftigen Granatrot mit violetten Reflexen. Die Trauben für diesen Rotwein stammen von Hanglagen in Entiklar und Kurtatsch. Die Rebstöcke wurden zum Teil bereits 1967 angepflanzt. Acht Monate reifte der Lagrein im großen und kleinen Holzfass.

In the South Tyrolean “Unterland”, in the middle of the valley, surrounded by orchards and vineyards near the river Adige lies the traditional winery Peter Zemmer. The Lagrein Reserve is a wonderful creation from the autochthonous variety.The characterful red wine has a garnet red color with purple hues. This 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc is bright yellow with a green shimmer. On the nose, this creation from South Tyrol offers fruity aromas of apricot, tangerine and passion fruit. Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC
Bei der Turmhof-Linie des Spitzenweingutes Tiefenbrunner aus Südtirol handelt es sich um Weißweine, die im Holzfass ausgebaut wurden. Dazu zählt der Tiefenbrunner Turmhof Chardonnay, eine weitere eindrucksvolle Kreation der Winzer-Familie, die in 9. Generation im Besitz ihrer Anbaugebiete ist. Im Bukett dieses Chardonnay vereinen sich exotische Noten von Ananas und Banane. Auch Nuancen von Äpfeln und Vanille sind dabei. Am Gaumen ist dieser Weißwein von Lagen südlich von Margreid und Hanglagen in Kurtatsch kraftvoll, mit einer klaren Struktur und einer merklichen, angenehmen Salzigkeit. Dass beim Ausbau dieses Chardonnay Eichenholz genutzt wurde, ist sehr präsent und verleiht dem Weißwein besondere Eleganz.Der reinsortige Chardonnay wurde für zehn Monate „zu 50% unter regelmäßiger Batonnage im großen Holzfass und zu je 25% auf der feinen Hefe im Betonbehälter bzw. mit biologischem Säureabbau auf der ersten Hefe in Tonneau-Fässern“ ausgebaut, wie das Weingut schreibt. Die Assemblage reifte für zwei weitere Monate im Betonbehälter bevor eine fünfmonatige Flaschenreife erfolgte.
