Vescovi Ulzbach Teroldego Rotaliano DOC

A truly rare taste experience: Only 1.000 acres comprises the wine-growing area in the appellation Teroldego Rotaliano. Campo Rotaliana is located about 20 km north of Trento. This area is the origin of the Teroldego-grape. Vescovi Ulzbach Teroldego Rotaliano is an example of the unique taste-experience.

The wine has an impenetrable ruby color. The multi-faceted bouquet is characterized by many spicy notes, such as green pepper and rosemary. The taste is full, with a remarkable fruitiness. Flavors of cherry and black currant are dominant, but you can also taste hints of plum and figs. The wine is wonderful fresh, on the palate only a slightly influence of barrel aging.

Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet
The Rungg Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon is supplemented by the Cabernet Franc grape variety, giving the wine a light spice. The grapes for the Rungg from the Cantina Tramin estate come from terroirs located south of the village of Tramin. The vines grow on hilly vineyards situated about 300 metres above sea level. The soils consist of gravelly subsoils, while the topsoil contains clay and lime. The terroir gives the wine a pleasant tannin structure and elegance. To underscore the aromas, aging was carried out in barriques and larger wooden casks. The Rungg is a garnet-red in colour and has an intense bouquet of cherries, currants and dried fruit. The wine is wonderfully round on the palate, offering chocolate and light roast aromas, with a powerful, long-lasting finish. Due to its full body, the Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet goes beautifully with game, roasts or ripe cheeses.

Zenato Valpolicella Superiore
The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance). This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.
