Corvina Veronese, Corvinone und Rondinella Trauben werden nach der handverlesenen Ernte 3 - 4 Monate eingetrocknet, bevor die Vinifizierung stattfindet. Durch die Trocknung der Trauben werden der Zuckergehalt und der Extrakt des Weines und somit der Alkoholgehalt erhöht. Diese Methode nennt man Appassimento. Das Resultat ist ein kräftiger trockener Rotwein mit leichter Restsüße.

The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.

Der Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG ist eine Cuvée aus vier Valpolicella-Rebsorten. So ist er aus Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Corvinone und Molinara gekeltert. Für diesen Amarone verwendet das Weingut Tommasi Viticoltori ausschließlich die am besten ausgereiften Cluster und lässt die Trauben über den Winter in offenen Regalen trocknen. Danach reift der Wein drei Jahre in Eichenfässern und ein Jahr in der Flasche.Dadurch leuchtet dieser Wein im Glas in einem tiefen Rubinrot und hat ein intensives Bouquet sowie einen vollmundigen Geschmack. Er duftet nach Schwarzbeeren, Kaffee, Tabak und einem Hauch Vanille und Bitterschokolade. Am Gaumen entfalten sich weitere fruchtige Noten von Kirsche und Pflaume mit harmonisch eingebundenen Tanninen und einem anhaltenden Nachklang.Dieser komplexe und raffinierte Rotwein aus dem Veneto passt bei 18 bis 20 °C Trinktemperatur hervorragend zu würzigen Speisen. Hier, in der Region Venetien, gedeihen die drei Rebsorten für die Cuvée aus Corvina Veronese, Rondinella und Molinara. Diesen Rebsorten verdankt der Rotwein seine tiefe rubinrote Farbgebung. Sein Bouquet ist reichhaltig und komplex; fruchtige Aromen von Kirschen vereinen sich mit feinen Nuancen von Schokolade zu einem verführerischen Duft. Vollmundig und harmonisch kitzelt er den Gaumen, wobei der angenehme, lang anhaltende Nachhall zum Genießen einlädt.Ein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis bietet der Mabis Biscardo Ripasso della Valpolicella Superiore, wenn Sie ihn bei 16 bis 18°C Trinktemperatur servieren. This wine shows an excellent fullness, majestic aromas and an outstanding balance among all components, giving it ideal potential for prolonged ageing. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a sensational masterpiece of taste and fragrance. The Amarone has an impressive elegance, ripe fruit and an inviting bouquet. It is ruby-red in colour and shows fine hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is impressively powerful, with warm, rich nuances of wild cherry and chocolate. The Amarone is a little jewel in the range of Zenato wines. It is made of the excellent Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina grapes, which come from the Valpolicella Classico region from the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. The grapes are harvested and picked by hand and subsequently dried for a period of three months. As a consequence, much of the liquid evaporates, resulting in berries that are extremely rich in sugar. After fermentation, the wine matured for 30 months in oak casks and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

In its bouquet, this Amarone from the Lenotti estate offers intense notes of the high-quality woods, in which the wine from the classic Valpolicella region matured for a long time. This wine is produced only in particularly good years. It is a blend consisting of the best red Valpolicella grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta, dried in wooden crates until late in the winter. The wine matured in oak casks for several years.On the palate, the Lenotti Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is simultaneously lovely and bitter, intense and velvety. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides. The climate is characterised by high temperatures all year round, very few rainfalls and a wide difference of temperature between night and day, which has a nice influence on the quality of grapes.
