Cesari

The tannins are nicely integrated. This blend from the Cà dei Frati estate, consisting of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina, was aged for 24 months in wooden casks and for 12 months in stainless steel tanks, before it matured for a further 24 months in the bottle. Zenato Riserva Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Magistral smell and taste sensation!Amarone has an impressive elegance in the center and an inviting bouquet of ripe fruit. Deep ruby red with hints of fine herbs. On the palate, the powerful, warm and rich flavorinfluences, including wild cherries and chocolate, very impressive.Excellent for a lifetime ...The absolute 'king' of this region, made from only the best grapes of exceptionally good harvests. Hand picked and selected and the grapes are let to dry out for several months with the result that much of the moisture in the grapes evaporates allowing the grapes to be very rich in sugars. The best and ripest Corvina grapes supplemented with a little Rondinella and Sangiovese. After fermentation the wine is matured in Slavonian oak casks for four years and then another 12 months in bottle.

Tenuta Sant Antonio Scaia Corvina Rossa
The Castagnedi brothers from the Tenuta Sant Antonio estate gave the name ‘Scaia’, which means ‘chips of stone, chalk or lime’ to an entire line of wines. It is a tribute to the soils on which the grapes for this unique young wine grow. The Corvina grapes for the Tenuta Sant Antonio Scaia Corvina Rossa are gently pressed after harvest and subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The result is a ruby-red wine offering flowery notes of roses and violets and fruity aromas of wild berries, cherries, plums, blackberries, red and black currants and raspberries in its bouquet. The red wine is intense and full-bodied on the palate, showing a good structure and length. The Scaia Corvina Rossa goes beautifully with pasta and risotto dishes, red meat, polenta with herring and ripe cheeses.

Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC
This wine shows an excellent fullness, majestic aromas and an outstanding balance among all components, giving it ideal potential for prolonged ageing. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a sensational masterpiece of taste and fragrance. The Amarone has an impressive elegance, ripe fruit and an inviting bouquet. It is ruby-red in colour and shows fine hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is impressively powerful, with warm, rich nuances of wild cherry and chocolate. The Amarone is a little jewel in the range of Zenato wines. It is made of the excellent Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina grapes, which come from the Valpolicella Classico region from the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. The grapes are harvested and picked by hand and subsequently dried for a period of three months. As a consequence, much of the liquid evaporates, resulting in berries that are extremely rich in sugar. After fermentation, the wine matured for 30 months in oak casks and for a further 12 months in the bottle.
