Prosecco Frizzante is a specialty from the wine region Veneto in North-Italy. The distinctiveness of the Italian sparkling wine is its pleasant carbonic acid, which is formed in the second fermentation. Thus, the Prosecco gets its sparkling, exceptionally fresh and zesty character.

This Prosecco Frizzante is delicious as aperitif, with light dishes or summer salads.

Cantina Montelliana

Das Weingut Cantina Montelliana gibt es seit 1957. Es liegt im bekannten italienischen Weinanbaugebiet Venetien am Fuße der Hügelzone des Gebietes Montello und Colli Asolani im Zentrum der Marca Trevigiana. Die Weingärten befinden sich auf einer Höhe von 120-250 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel in Südlage. Das Gebiet bietet ideale Boden- und Klimaverhältnisse für den Weinbau. Besonders günstig ist der Kiesunterboden der Weinhänge, der einen optimalen Abfluss des Regenwassers erlaubt. Weitere Anbaugebiete von Cantina Montelliana befinden sich in der Ebene des Flusses Piave.

Die Cantina Montelliana ist eine Winzergenossenschaft, die sich auf die Produktion von Prosecco spezialisiert hat. Auf einer Rebfläche von ca. 600 Hektar wird vorwiegend die Glera-Traube angebaut, die typisch ist für die Region und den charakteristischen Prosecco hervorbringt. Die Bedeutung der Prosecco-Produktion ist in den letzten 40 Jahren stark gewachsen.

Die Cantina Montelliana hat sich in den letzten Jahren als Hersteller von hochwertigem Perlwein profiliert, was durch zahlreiche Auszeichnungen ihrer DOCG Perlweine belegt wird.

Zenato Valpolicella Superiore

The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities.
