Made from 100% chardonnay grapes.

A well-defined straw yellow with subtle hints of green. Its captivating aromas are remarkable for their velvety elegance, which display classic chardonnay characteristics along with attractive hints of hazelnut and flint.

The palate, too, is quintessential chardonnay, it silky roundness balanced by a lively acidity, while the fruit encountered on the nose re-emerges nicely. Delicious notes of hazelnut linger through a long, lingering finish.

Das Weingut Zenato liegt in der Moränen-Landschaft von Lugana und Valpolicella in San Benetto in Norditalien. Es ist eingebettet in der malerischen Landschaft am Gardasee. Mit ihrem milden Klima und unvergleichlichen Charme ist diese Weinanbaugegend weltberühmt geworden. Die Weinberge von Zenato umfassen 75 Hektar, auf denen neben Merlot auch die Rebsorten Corvina, Rondinella, Sangiovese und Oseleta angebaut werden.

Im Jahr 1960 übernahm Sergio Zenato das Weingut und versuchte, neue Techniken der Weinherstellung zu entwickeln. Er investierte in die Entwicklung der Mutterreben, um Wein von höchster Qualität zu erhalten. Heute ist seine Frau Carla, zusammen mit ihren Kindern Alberto, Nadia und Sergio, mit der gleichen Begeisterung und Beharrlichkeit in der Leitung von Zenato Weine tätig. In über 60 Ländern der Welt sind Zenato Weine bekannt.

Cantina Tramin Chardonnay

The grapes come from vineyards planted in calcareous clay and gravel soils between 240 and 500 meters in the areas Ora, Tramin and Egna.The grapes were gently pressed immediately following harvest. Primary fermentation occurred in steel tanks, followed by partial malolactic fermentation.Tasting NotesChardonnay is popular and much-loved variety. Our Chardonnay is greenish yellow in color, with delicate fruity aromas and a dry finish. The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.

Seinen Namen verdankt er dem Ort Bardolino, der am Ostufer des Sees liegt und einen exzellenten Ruf als Weinbaugebiet genießt.Dieser Rosé imponiert mit seiner zarten rosaroten Farbe sowie einem fruchtig frischen Bouquet. Sein Duft vereint Aromen von Erdbeeren, Kirschen, Himbeeren, Litschis und Rhabarber mit einem Hauch Hagebutte. Am Gaumen ist eine feine Fruchtsäure spürbar.
