Churchill's 10 Years Old Tawny Port
Let’s just listen to Robert Parker’s assessment of the Churchill’s 10 Years Old Tawny Port: ‘Unquestionably the finest Tawny I’ve tasted in years. What makes it profound is its complex fragrance of roasted nuts and sweet fruit. There is impeccable definition and richness, a velvety texture and a long lusty finish. It is all a Tawny should be.’ Robert Parker finally awards 94 points to the Churchill's 10 Years Old Tawny Port. The port wine is brick-red in colour with amber-coloured glints. It unites the complexity of age with a youthful freshness and acidity in perfection. This Tawny port, consisting of port wines with an average age of at least ten years, is the gateway, so to speak, to the wonderful world of Tawny port wines that have been aged over decades.
