Der Lopes Vinho Tinto ist ein eleganter, vollmundiger und aromareicher Rotwein aus der Weinbauregion Vinho Regional Lisboa (nördlich von Lissabon entlang der Atlantikküste). Reife Aromen, die an rote Früchte erinnern, schmeicheln dem Gaumen.

Ein geschmeidiger, trockener Rotwein, der sich hervorragnd als Begleiter zu Grillgerichten, hellem Fleisch und Pasta geeignet.

Antonio Lopes wurde in Cortes Ira in der Weinregion Estremedura nördlich von Lissabon gegründet und gehört heute zu den bedeutendsten Export-Kellereien Portugals. Der weitaus größte Teil der Weine wird exportiert, nur etwas 5 % der Gesamtproduktion werden im Inland abgesetzt.

Unter Fachleuten gelten die Caves Vidigal als eine der innovativsten Kellereinen des ansonsten eher konservativen Weinlandes - nicht zuletzt ein Verdienst von Firmenchef Antonio Lopes und seinen Mitarbeitern.
