Niepoort

The Tawny matured for an average of 7-9 years in oak casks, and was partially blended with considerably older port wines in order to give it more complexity and character. This wine is well-balanced with the abundance of aromas of black and red fruit that wonderfully unite with notes of oranges, orange peel, cinnamon, figs, raisins and plums to create this outstanding taste experience. This amber-coloured port wine is exceptionally aromatic and full-bodied. It is lovely on its own as an aperitif, especially when it’s slightly chilled, or after a good dinner. The Tawny also goes beautifully with almond cake or crème brûlée.
