18 Monate reifte der Haute Cabriere Arnim Family Reserve in französischen Eichenfässern, wobei zu 10 Prozent neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen.

1982 hat Achim von Arnim das 1694 gegründete traditionsreiche Weingut im französisch geprägten Franschhoek-Tal übernommen. Vor allen Dingen die Chardonnay- und Pinot Noir-Kreationen begründen den exzellenten Ruf des Weingutes.

Anthonij Rupert Syrah

Nur die besten Trauben finden den Weg in den Wein. Sowohl die Gärung als auch die anschließende durchschnittlich 21 Monate dauernde Reifung fand in französischen Eichenfässern statt. Danach wurde der Anthonij Rupert Syrah ungefiltert auf die Flaschen gefüllt und reifte darin für weitere 2 Jahre. Der Rotwein duftet herrlich nach Veilchen, Pflaume, Himbeere und Vanille. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein verblüffend komplex, aber extrem facettenreich. Schöne Fruchtnoten stehen im Einklang mit Gewürznoten und einer sanft integrierten Tanninstruktur. Auch der Abgang ist saftig ausgewogen und von überzeugender Länge. Für einen langen Abend vor dem Kamin oder als Begleiter zu einem Festtagsessen werden Sie kaum was Besseres finden. Öffnen Sie den Wein mindestens zwei Stunden vor dem Genuss und geben sie ihm etwas Zeit sich im Glas zu entwickeln.

Der Boekenhoutskloof The Chocolate Block ist ein unverwechselbares Geschmackserlebnis aus Südafrika. In der Nase vereint dieser trockene Blend aus knapp drei Viertel Syrah (Shiraz) sowie kleineren Anteilen von Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Cinsault und Viognier vielfältige Noten: Intensive Kirschnoten, Kardamom, süßer Tabak, Espresso und ein Hauch von Parfüm kommen hier zusammen. Am Gaumen vollmundig und rund, mit sehr guter Struktur, erfrischender Säure, einer rauchigen Mineralität und Aromen von schwarzen Oliven, sowie Lakritz und reifen Pflaumen.Für 16 Monate wurde der vegane Wein aus der Region Franschhoek im Eichenholz ausgebaut, wobei zu 10% neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen.Der außergewöhnliche Rotwein passt ideal zu Pasta und Pizza, dunklem Fleisch (gebraten oder gegrillt), zu Geräuchertem oder zu mittelkräftigem Käse oder Hartkäse bei einer Trinktemperatur von 18 °C.Auch als 1.5-Liter-Magnum-Flasche erhältlich.
