The Bodegas LAN Crianza is an expressive red wine from the renowned Rioja wine region in Spain. Bodegas LAN stands for excellent wines that combine tradition and modern cellar technology. This Crianza impresses with its perfect balance between fruit, wood and spicy notes - a prime example of the high quality of Rioja wines.
The Bodegas LAN Crianza is mainly made from Tempranillo. The grapes come from carefully selected plots in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is matured for 12 months in an innovative combination of American and French barrique barrels. This method gives the wine its characteristic vanilla and toasted notes. The wine then rests in the bottle for a further 6 months to fully develop its harmony and complexity.
The nose reveals intense notes of ripe cherry, strawberry and plum, combined with subtle hints of vanilla, cinnamon and toasted wood.
On the palate, this dry red wine impresses with its fruity elegance, supple tannins and perfectly integrated acidity. Spicy, slightly smoky nuances ensure a pleasant finish with a long aftertaste.
The Bodegas LAN Crianza is a versatile food companion. It harmonizes perfectly with grilled meat, tapas, Iberian ham, mature Manchego cheese and pasta with spicy tomato sauce. It is also an excellent choice with hearty stews or roasted vegetables.
This Rioja is best enjoyed at a drinking temperature of 16-18 °C. It is advisable to decant the wine briefly before drinking to bring out its aromas to the full.
A classic Rioja Crianza with a modern twist - ideal for connoisseurs who love authentic Spanish wine.
