Torres Salmos DO Priorat

In the glass a deep dark red with purple highlights.

In the nose an intense, mineral-dominated bouquet with aromas of candied dark berries and black cherries, caramel and chocolate, finely lined with fresh floral accents of violets and thyme.

Very gentle, soft and full bodied on the palate with perfectly balanced, sweet ripened tannins, which gives the final a fantastically long and very elegant finish.

Delicious with game (venison, venison, venison stew), lamb and beef, or even to mature hard cheeses.

Familia Torres

Torres Sangre de Toro DO Catalunya
In the year 1954 my father, Miguel Torres, was already seeking out the most prized red grapes of the region, Garnacha and Cariñena, to create a different wine that would express the authentic character of the land. This led to the birth of "Sangre de Toro", whose name is inspired by Baccus, Roman god of wine, known in ancient times as "Son of the Bull".Deep ruby colour with a hint of ochre. Rich complex Mediterranean aromas with exuberant notes of spices and blackberries. Velvety tannins are noted on the palate with elegant flavours of licorice and small dark forest fruits.Perfect with stews, game, meat paellas and traditional mountain cuisine.
