Juicy blackberry, cherry and cassis, a chunk of chocolate and a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Firm tannins lead to smoky toastiness on the finish. The grapes for this wine are specially selected by the winemaker, so that only the highest quality fruit goes into the blend.

Notes of black cherry and plum compote characterize this red wine which is a blend of Corvinone, Corvina and Cabernet Sauvignon. Corvinone and Corvina are typical grape varieties of the Veneto region. The winery Mabis is known for its ability to transport the full potential of these varieties in its red wines.On the palate the Neropasso Rosso is elegant, harmonious, full and silky, with sweet tannins in the finale. Part of the grapes for this wine was dried before being pressed. This particular Appassimento method is characteristic of the Veneto region. Der Fetzer 1000 Stories Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel ist ein außergewöhnlicher Rotwein aus Kalifornien. Der amerikanische Bio-Wein-Pionier setzte in den 1970er-Jahren auf den Ausbau von Weinen in gebrauchten Bourbonfässern. Denn französisches Barrique war kaum zu bekommen. Diese Vergangenheit, die auch vom Tatendrang und Pioniergeist Fetzers zeugt, lässt das Weingut nun wieder aufleben.Der Blend aus Zinfandel und Petite Syrah vereint in seinem Bukett Noten von dunklen Kirschen und Pflaumen mit Nuancen von Tabak, Mokka und kraftvollen, erdigen Tönen. Dazu kommen durch den Ausbau im Bourbonfass wunderbar harmonierende Töne von Vanille und Röstaromen.Am Gaumen ist der Fetzer 1000 Stories Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel weich und saftig. Auch hier ist das Aromenspiel intensiv. Noten von dunklen Beeren, Kaffeebohnen, Vanille und Haselnüssen prägen das Geschmackserlebnis. Das Finale hallt noch lange nach.

The Bull is a Malbec from Argentina that is as superb as it gets. It is an ideal accompaniment to well-cooked steaks, but you’ll definitely want more than one glass when enjoying this wine on its own.It is a brilliant deep purple - almost black - in the glass.
