Its captivating aromas are remarkable for their velvety elegance, which display classic chardonnay characteristics along with attractive hints of hazelnut and flint. The palate, too, is quintessential chardonnay, it silky roundness balanced by a lively acidity, while the fruit encountered on the nose re-emerges nicely. Delicious notes of hazelnut linger through a long, lingering finish.

Produced from 100% trebbiano di Lugana grapes. Attractive greenish highlights complement a luminous straw-yellow colour. The wine offers a superbe, richly-faceted nose, with an intense, lively fruitiness offering scents of ripe grape and peach, plus abundant tropical fruit banana, citron and grapefruit.That crisp liveliness marks the palate too, with its pleasurable tartness, a dryness softened around the edges, and the lightest hint vanilla hovering throughout.Fits very well with roast poultry, such as duck, goose or chicken.

This wine shows an excellent fullness, majestic aromas and an outstanding balance among all components, giving it ideal potential for prolonged ageing. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a sensational masterpiece of taste and fragrance. The Amarone has an impressive elegance, ripe fruit and an inviting bouquet. It is ruby-red in colour and shows fine hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is impressively powerful, with warm, rich nuances of wild cherry and chocolate. The Amarone is a little jewel in the range of Zenato wines. It is made of the excellent Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina grapes, which come from the Valpolicella Classico region from the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. The grapes are harvested and picked by hand and subsequently dried for a period of three months. As a consequence, much of the liquid evaporates, resulting in berries that are extremely rich in sugar. After fermentation, the wine matured for 30 months in oak casks and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

Dieser rosarote Wein aus dem Veneto ist eine Cuvée der Rebsorten Corvina Veronese, Rondinella und Molinara.Die Reben für den Zenato Bardolino Chiaretto Rosé reifen am Gardasee in der Region Venetien. Seinen Namen verdankt er dem Ort Bardolino, der am Ostufer des Sees liegt und einen exzellenten Ruf als Weinbaugebiet genießt.Dieser Rosé imponiert mit seiner zarten rosaroten Farbe sowie einem fruchtig frischen Bouquet. Sein Duft vereint Aromen von Erdbeeren, Kirschen, Himbeeren, Litschis und Rhabarber mit einem Hauch Hagebutte. Am Gaumen ist eine feine Fruchtsäure spürbar. Dank dieser Harmonie aus Frische und Fruchtigkeit erweist sich der Rosé als optimaler Sommerwein.Ein besonderer Genuss ist der Rosé bei einer Trinktemperatur von 10 bis 12 °C. Er eignet sich wunderbar als Aperitif sowie als Begleiter leichter Speisen. So harmoniert er mit Thunfisch, Meeresfrüchten und Salaten. In brillantem Rubinrot erstrahlt der Zenato Bardolino Rosso DOC im Glas, während eine blumig-fruchtige Note den Geruchssinn umschmeichelt. Sie riechen die Aromen von Brombeeren, Schwarzkirschen und den Duft einer Blumenwiese. Die Kirschnote kommt anschließend am Gaumen voll zur Geltung.Seinen besonderen Charakter verdankt dieser Wein der Mischung aus Corvina-, Rondinella- und Sangiovese-Trauben, wobei Corvina mit einem Anteil von 65 % die Hauptrolle spielt.Sie genießen diesen nicht allzu schweren Rotwein bei einer Temperatur von 14 bis 16 °C. Als kulinarischer Begleiter empfiehlt sich der Zenato Bardolino Rosso DOC aus Venetien, der südlich des Gardasees gekeltert wird, vor allem zu leichter Küche.

Zenato Lugana Riserva "Sergio Zenato"

The fruit is from the Podere Massoni vineyards, with 15- to 20-year-old vines and a very low average yield of 2.5 kg per vine. Harvest occurs somewhat late, towards mid-October. Winemaking is carried out with extreme care. The wine is fermented in barriques for 3 weeks, then matured in small new oak for 4 months, followed by 6 months in steel and 6 months in glass before release.The wine exhibits a lively light gold, then opens to a rich, multi-layered nose featuring nuances of blossoms, citrus fruit, and vanilla. A beautifully balanced mouth offers stunning richness, then continues through into a remarkably long, savoury finale.A few years cellaring will be amply rewarded.
